๐งช Soda Horse Peak™ ingredients: every amount, checked
Eight ingredients, all disclosed. Here is each one against the amounts research actually uses โ the comparison the label makes possible.
Soda Horse Peak publishes an amount for all eight ingredients. ๐ That is rare on this shelf and it earns genuine credit. It also means the figures can be checked, which is what this page does.
| Ingredient | On this label | Commonly used in research |
|---|---|---|
| ๐ง L-Citrulline | 35 mg | 3,000–6,000 mg |
| โก L-Carnitine | 25 mg | 1,000–2,000 mg |
| ๐ฟ Ginseng, maca & rhodiola | 200 mg combined (20:1) | Each studied separately, usually higher |
| ๐ Grape Seed Extract | 25 mg (20:1) | Varies widely by preparation |
| ๐ก๏ธ Zinc (zinc citrate) | 1.5 mg • 14% DV | Deficiency correction uses more |
| ๐ Vitamin B6 | 2 mg • 118% DV | At or above the daily value โ |
| ๐ซ Vitamin B3 (niacin) | 25 mg • 156% DV | At or above the daily value โ |
๐ง L-Citrulline: right ingredient, small amount
This is the ingredient the whole formula is built around, and the choice is correct — citrulline is better absorbed than arginine and is what the research increasingly uses.
The amount is the problem. Studies looking at citrulline and blood flow generally work in grams, not milligrams. At 35 mg this is present enough to name on a label, not at a level the research would recognise. We go through the numbers properly here.
๐ฟ The 200 mg botanical blend
Panax ginseng, maca root and rhodiola share one 200 mg figure at 20:1 extract strength. Two things follow. The 20:1 concentration means the figure represents more plant material than it appears to — that is a point in its favour. But 200 mg is the total for all three, so no single herb gets anywhere near the amounts used in its own trials.
Ginseng is the best evidenced of the three for this purpose; the NCCIH profile covers both its evidence and its cautions.
โ Where the label gets it right
The two vitamins. B6 at 118% and B3 at 156% of their daily values are real, functional amounts — not decorative. If you were deficient in either, this would help.
Zinc at 14% DV is a reasonable top-up and the mineral's testosterone link is genuine, though 1.5 mg will not correct a deficiency by itself.

๐ฐ See today's priceโ ๏ธ The medication cautions
These matter more here than the doses do.
L-citrulline supports nitric oxide and can lower blood pressure. Combined with nitrate medication such as nitroglycerin, with erectile dysfunction medicines, or with blood pressure treatment, the effects can add up further than intended.
Panax ginseng and grape seed extract each carry cautions alongside blood thinners.
If you take anything in those families, show the bottle to your doctor or pharmacist before the first gummy. Full interaction guide here.
๐ฌ The sugar question
These are real honey gummies, so they contain sugar. The amount per gummy is small but it is not zero, and at one a day it is unlikely to matter for most people. If you manage diabetes or count carbohydrates closely, check the panel on your own bottle.
๐ A fair summary
Good transparency, correct ingredient choices, two properly dosed vitamins, and amino acid amounts that are well below research levels. That is the whole picture, and the label deserves credit for making it possible to see.
